Networking Day

The Peace and Social Concerns committee invites everyone to Networking Day 9/11 10am at the Sandy Spring Community House.

In the morning we will have a presentation by Nathan Harrington, a member of Sandy Spring Friends Meeting. Nathan is creating an intentional community in the Congress Heights section of Anacostia in D.C. There are four people who have bought a house there and work together in the community on social justice issues.  He also teaches in a challenging public school in Prince George’s County.

After his talk we’ll talk about our successes and challenges.

A breakfast snack and lunch will be provided by the excellent Hospitalitarians of SSMM.
